From the album As Nasty As They Wanna Be, Me So Horny reached #1 on the rap charts and #26 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1989 despite lack of airplay due to the controversial nature of the lyrics. In fact, the song was deemed to be so explicit that the group was briefly banned in the state of Florida on charges of obscenity. This ban was overturned on appeal.
